water. It is not easy to find fresh water in the Yucatan as there are no surface sources of water.
With the unique sound of the Toh bird, it guides anyone seeking water to where they inhabit,
cenotes, the only source of fresh water.
The current owner of this house was met by a Toh bird while visiting the property, seeing it as a
sign for this adventurer to make this home her's in the heart of the Yucatan and calling it Casa
Toh.

Steps away is the magnificent Paseo Montejo with many restaurants from fine dining to local eats and desserts. A few blocks away is Calle 47, Mérida’s gastronomic corridor, with some of the best restaurants in all of Mérida. Other areas in close walking distance are La Plancha food hall and Parque Santa Ana with authentic Yucatecan fare.
The Yucatán has so much to offer from cenotes, beaches, ancient Mayan archeological sites, haciendas, flamingos and more. We will be more than happy to set you up with a personal driver for custom day trips to visit the wonders of the Yucatán.
There are many activities in walking distance or within a short Uber ride from Casa Toh. Just a five-minute walk visit La Plancha park, a new development with a man-made lake, outdoor amphitheater, and a light museum. And right on Paseo Montejo are a few museums such as Museo Casa Montejo. Or, head on down to Plaza Grande, the heart of the city, with cathedrals, museums, shopping and more restaurants.
We love pets, but at this time, our property does not accommodate animals. This policy helps us ensure the space remains allergen-free and suitable for all guests. Thank you for understanding!
Casa Toh Merida has a four (4) night minimum stay at a rate of $130 USD per night, plus a $100 USD cleaning fee. At the time of booking, 50% of your total cost is required to reserve your stay. You may cancel up to 4 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations less than 4 days from arrival, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited. Four days prior to your arrival the balance of your stay (nightly rate plus cleaning fee) will be charged to your credit card.
Four days before your check-in date, a $500 hold will be place on the card on file. This will cover any accidental damages and will automatically be released at the end of your stay.
When flying into Mé (MID), you can take a taxi, private transfer, or rental car. Uber is not available for pickup at the airport. Private transfers are approximately $30USD to Casa Toh.
Yes. Casa Toh has a gated, single-vehicle, carport that you may use.
